After a year without any news, Youku finally made an
official announcement that Till the End of the Moon will be released in
early April 2023.
The drama starring two high-class actors, Luo Yun Xi
and Bai Lu, is one of the dramas produced by Youku. Directed by Kuk Kok Leung, Till
the End of the Moon has been filming from October 2021 - March 2022.
Although the air date has just been announced, which is April 6, 2023, the
drama has received great attention and has been highly anticipated since 2022.
Why is Till the End of the Moon called an S+
level drama? This is because this drama is referred as one of the dramas with a
costly production budget and played by high-class actors. The
class leveling for dramas is determined by their respective streaming
platforms. This means there is no official source for this class leveling, as
each streaming platform has its own criteria. For example, for Tencent (WeTV)
and Youku, S+ is the designation for their highest-grade drama, which means it
is a headliner drama for their platform, a drama that has a costly production
budget, a drama with bigger promotions, and so on.
Till the End of the Moon is a drama adapted from the novel 'Hei Yue Guang Na
Wen BE Ju Ben' by Teng Luo Wei Zhi. The drama tells the story of Li Su Su (Bai
Lu), a daughter of the leader of the Hengyang Sect who risks everything and
returns to five hundred years ago to prevent the rise of the demon king, Prince
Tan Tai Jin (Luo Yun Xi). But as things happen, Li Su Su eventually falls for
Tan Tai Jin. The drama will focus on xianxia, action scenes, and the love
romance between Li Su Su and Tan Tai Jin.
Based on the official announcement, the drama will have 40 episodes that will be divided into two parts, but there has been no airing scheduled calendar for this drama until today.
Till the End of the Moon will be available on Youku's streaming platform on April 6, 2023.
